About the role

THE ROLE
Tesco Ireland is currently seeking to appoint a Customer Experience Manager who will have responsibility for leading a team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. This role will report to the Deputy Manager.
You will be responsible for
* Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers.
* Managing store operations, including checkout operations and equipment.
* Being responsible for the store in the absence of the Store Manager/Deputy Manager.
* Ensuring team training and validation in their roles.
* Fostering two-way communication and a culture of trust.
* Coaching and managing colleagues to meet daily priorities.
* Reviewing reports and systems for customer and colleague improvements.
* Driving a culture of zero food waste and managing date codes.
* Recruiting passionate colleagues.
* Understanding and ensuring cleaning specifications are met.
* Managing stock control activities and processes.
* Addressing pricing issues and ensuring correct charges.
* Managing front-end operations to minimize queues.
* Recognizing and providing feedback on colleague service levels.
You will need
For the ‘Customer Experience Manager’ role, you should have a demonstrated track record of:
* Being passionate about delivering the right way for customers and colleagues.
* Being adaptable and agile in your thinking.
* Delivering key objectives in a fast-paced environment.
* Being the ‘Go To’ person for department queries.
* Shaping and influencing at senior levels.
* Previous retail experience preferred in a similar role.
