We have an opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain to join Italicatessen.
At Italicatessen, we select, import, and distribute top quality Italian food and wine across Ireland. We carefully select our suppliers and products based on a criterion of excellence.
Our mission is to import Italian made products with exceptional price to quality ratios that sell very well in Italy (as opposed to products made solely for export and thus of very low value). Part of the Musgrave Group, a company that remains family owned and has been in business for over 147 years.
Role - Head of Supply Chain
Italicatessen Ltd, a leading company in importing and distributing top quality Italian food and wines, is looking for a Head of Supply Chain to support the business growth.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Supply Chain will be part of the senior leadership team.
Description
This is a broad role, including responsibility for all warehouse, transport/logistics, customer services, and procurement activities.
A hands-on role at the heart of operations which will work in a collaborative manner with all other departments such as sales, finance, HR, and on occasion, your group counterpart/colleagues.
The successful candidate will develop and periodically report on agreed KPIs.
Drive the projects within the Supply Chain that are required to deliver our growth plans.
Coaching direct reports with their development plans.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
* Significant/relevant experience in supply chain with a clear track record of delivery in a fast-paced/growth environment
* Food industry knowledge
* A clear and effective communicator at all levels of the organisation
* Hands-on operator who can manage diverse demands, mentor/support direct reports, and deliver expectations
* Self-starter, can take initiative, apply knowledge, and make a difference
* Proven leader, capable of motivating and building effective teams.
* Commercial role which will engage with sales and finance on a regular basis.
