Job Description
We are looking for a Procurement Category Manager - Claims to join our Procurement team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for various activities to support the Procurement team in implementing supplier management processes under RSAs Third Party Management Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage Claims procurement activities (RFPs, etc.) across the island of Ireland, ensuring alignment with Claims strategies.
* Manage substantial addressable spend across Claims and design projects for improved efficiency of spend.
* Negotiate and manage complex Claims contracts, including legal agreements, in tandem with other members of Procurement Team.
* Maintain the Claims Preferred Supplier List in conjunction with the Claims Team and foster strategic relationships (workshops, CSRD initiatives, wider Supplier pool, etc.).
* Analysing and monitoring supplier performance data (compliance, spend, risk, SLAs, solvency).
* Working with Claims stakeholders in the business to support and monitor their supplier management activities.
* Ensuring key governance requirements regarding the supplier relationship are consistently met in a timely manner.
* Tracking market dynamics to understand/monitor commercial trends and awareness of industry innovation that be shared with the Claims Team for possible adoption.
* Producing reports (trends, etc.) to support the governance and oversight of supplier management.
Requirements
* 5+ years of procurement/buyer experience.
* Good working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in a financial services company (e.g., Solvency II, CBI Outsourcing Guidelines) is desirable but not essential.
* Previous work in an insurance company is desirable but not essential.
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
* Advanced MS Excel.
* Good working knowledge of procedures and compliance requirements in a corporate environment.
* Strong organisational skills and methodical approach to results delivery.
* Ability to build effective cross-team and supplier relationships.
* Experience of working with Third Party Risk systems.
