Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide crucial financial support, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for accounting and the motor industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate financial records for the dealership, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Process invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely management of all transactions.
3. Reconcile daily sales, inventory, and bank accounts to ensure accuracy in financial data.
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow statements.
5. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and external auditors when required.
6. Process weekly payroll.
7. Reconcile Balance Sheet monthly.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and financial laws.
9. Other ad hoc financial tasks as required.
Basic Requirements:
1. Qualified Accounting Technician.
2. 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Motivated and deadline driven with keen attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
