Applications are invited for the permanent position of Medical Scientist in Histopathology in the Pathology Department of St Vincent's University Hospital.
*Applications are welcome from 2025 Medical Scientist Graduates* Purpose of the post: The post holder, in co-operation with the Laboratory Manager, the Consultant Head of Department and Chief Medical Scientist in Histopathology will Work as part of a team in the provision of a Histopathology service for St. Vincents University Hospital and its associated institutions and general practitioners in accordance with departmental policy, will actively contribute to the operation of a quality management system in compliance with ISO1519 INAB standards in Histopathology which all grades of staff are part of and which provides the governance framework for all processes in the department and will co-operate with the relevant Chief Medical Scientist and with other senior personnel in training staff as required.
