Role/Department
The Manager, Financial Analysis is a senior role within the Chief Financial Office (CFO), Chief Operating Office (COO) and Strategic Change, Data & Digital (SCDD) team. This role is responsible for Capital and Productivity Reporting & Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver IT capital reporting for actuals, forecast, plan across the enterprise
* Enhance and mature existing IT Capital PowerBI dashboards as defined by the Strategic Portfolio Management team, executives and other stakeholders
* Lead the team responsible for connectivity between the portfolio and project management tool, Alteryx and PowerBI
* Ensure technology standards are upheld
* Mature the existing business case process across the enterprise, including reporting of expense benefits as part of Productivity reporting
* Ensure governance of the business case process including appropriate sign-offs from senior executives
* Understand and articulate changes to the Productivity forecast as result of changes to business cases
* Delvever Productivity reporting monthly for the enterprise
* Mature Productivity reporting into PowerBI
* Partner with the Productivity Office, businesses and functions in a consulting capacity in relation to Productivity initiatives and associated benefits
* Brainstorm cost levers to implement in conjunction with the Productivity Office
* Prepare both planned and ad hoc reports for executives
* Suggest and implement automation opportunities in day-to-day responsibilities of the team
* Lead and develop of a team of partners
* Act as a role model for others, driving positive change both within the team and more broadly through the organization
Skills/Qualifications
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
* Significant experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within the financial services industry
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential for success in this role
* Advanced Excel skills are critical
* Advanced Power BI skills are critical
* Excellent critical thinking, curiosity and creativity about how technology is used to solve business challenges
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences including executives
* Flexibility and adaptability to change
