IT Manager Role Overview The IT Manager is a key role in the delivery of the organisation's Information and Communications Technology.
The role provides ICT governance & oversight of technology investment, selection, deployment, and management to ensure strategy alignment, delivery of value, and management of performance and risk.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the IT Manager will manage and develop the IT team, as well as developing close working relationships with Management across the organisation, including the leadership team.
Responsibilities.
To input to the organisations' plan, contributing IT solutions to develop cost-effective, efficient systems to achieve my client's strategic goals.
To manage the strategic IT direction using business plans as a key input.
To engage all technology activities and partnerships to ensure all activities are aligned and integrated and meets the goals of the organisation.
To design and deliver on ICT projects to enable departments provide innovative solutions Envisions, communicates and oversees the selection and deployment of ICT architecture ensuring that its fits together, is effectively managed and evolves over time.
Be responsible for maintaining the existing CRM and ensuring its development to support the organisation to deliver on strategic goals.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, expanding each team's capability to reduce costs and leverage improved service provision through effective use of technology.
To be responsible the organisation's technological infrastructure requirements by building and maintaining effective relationships with key outsourced Network and telephony vendors Deliver agreed IT projects on time and within budget.
Managing the IT budget for the organisation under the direction of the Head of Operations Lead on IT requirements for new locations, coordinating technical aspects of site installations.
Negotiate with suppliers and other vendors for the company's technology equipment and supplies, ensuring best price for service and support technology.
Work with Training and Development to create a range of training modules for IT.
To ensure that all members of the organization know how to use technology responsibly.
Manage technical support queries from staff, troubleshooting and clearing where possible and triage support with outsourced IT network provider when needed.
Tracking and reporting on all ICT infrastructure assets including end of life tagging for all ICT assets and audits of ICT assets to assist annual budgeting.
Develop, pilot and introduce new systems and technology to improve efficiency or expand the organisation's performance.
Manage a small team of staff to deliver the department's objectives and targets, including organisational action plans.
Build relationships with partners, suppliers and other organisations Be a key member in the development and growth of IT department To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested.
Any other duties within the general requirements of the above that may be assigned.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Third level degree or equivalent in a Technology related area Project Management qualification or experience is desirable 3 to 5 years' relevant experience Experience of line management of staff Skills and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), document management systems (SharePoint), O365, Cloud PBX, mobile devices Working knowledge of Quality Management systems (ISO 9001) Working knowledge of GDPR as it relates to IT Excellent communications, presentation, training, report writing and problem-solving skills Ability to build productive and supportive relationships with colleagues at all levels Salary €70,000 - €85,000 Great work life balance, WFH, flexible hours and a 35-hour working week.
