Your new company is a Dublin-based property development and management company with a broad portfolio of award-winning commercial and residential projects.They are now seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a largescale residential development in West Dublin.

Your new role
The project has been underway for a number of years with the completion of the total housing units expected to be early 2025 which is to be followed by the construction of 5 apartment blocks at the same location.
1. Manage all EHS aspects alongside the the Health and Safety Manager
2. Implement the company's health, safety, and environmental policy, procedures and management systems in line with OUR ISO 45001 SMS.
3. Advise & assist site management in drafting and communicating method statements, Safe Plans of Action and Toolbox Talks.
4. Provide advice, guidance and instruction in all health & safety matters to management, EHS, safety representatives and employees (including sub-contractors where appropriate).
5. Deliver Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees or sub-contractors working on site.
6. Conduct regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to site and senior company management.
7. Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded and investigated and that suitable notification is given to the Directors, Health & Safety Authority and Insurers as required.
8. Compile EHS reports for senior management and presenting on this report where required.
9. Involved in the development and delivery of Safety training as required.
What you'll need to succeed
10. A third level qualification in Health and Safety
11. 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
12. Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred
13. Experience within the residential / commercial construction sector
14. Able to manage Health and Safety on-site using their own initiative within the scope of the management system

€50,000 - €65,000 with a company pension on completion of your probationary period, as well as a company phone and laptop.
