As a part of Manufacturing Engineering SCC team, you will develop mechanical machines, tools fixtures and jigs required for the production of high end products.
Your tasks:
* Use of CAD to develop detailed 3D drawings and visualise concepts for the creation of measurement and assembly jigs, fixtures & machines to a high tolerance
* Work closely with NPI Project leader and others ME disciplines to develop, design, specify and construct Mechanical Engineering Solutions for production, according to current safety, general regulations, and design standards
* In conjunction with Control & Test Engineering support the integration of electrical components into mechanical system machine designs
* Provide expertise and support to all aspects of the company’s operations on mechanical design Engineering issues
* Represent the engineering department’s requirements on all mechanical design engineering matters assigned
* Develop detailed part and machine drawings for the purpose of supplier quotation & supplier sourcing where required
* Develop prototypes, BOM’s, Specifications and Operation Manual instructions where appropriate
* Maintenance of a design database, ensuring that all design drawing revisions and concepts are centrally stored.
* Ensure smooth commissioning / introduction of qualified jig/fixture & machine designs along with documentation to production in a complete and timely manner
* Support process qualification
Your profile:
* BSc in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or similar 3rd Level Degree
* 3-5 years of experience in similar position
* Proficiency with CAD Software
* Experience of assembly & integration of mechanical designs
* Deep knowledge in industrial systems
* Working knowledge on CAD tools CREO
* Autonomous performing daily tasks
* Accept priority changes due to rapid market evolution
* Able to deal with different stakeholders
* Fluent in English
