Senior HR Advisor

Role Overview:
To ensure the efficient operation of the HR function by delivering value to employees and clients, fostering corporate values, and promoting a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate the HR function, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
* Provide coaching and support to management and supervisors on HR matters.
* Collaborate with HR consultants on policy updates and compliance.
* Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.
* Maintain and update employment contracts, handbooks, job descriptions, and HR records.
* Address employee issues such as grievances, absences, and disputes in line with best practices.
* Monitor legal compliance, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the company at hearings.
* Develop and implement absence management policies and maintain time and attendance records.
* Organize training, certifications, and induction programs; maintain training matrices.
* Manage IT requirements for employees and act as a point of contact for IT concerns.
* Regularly meet with management to provide HR updates and assist with succession planning.
* Stay updated on employment law changes and support audits related to payroll and HR.
Additional Duties:
* Maintain NSAI ISO accreditation compliance.
* Act as Data Protection Officer, ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Manage company social media platforms and improve HR IT systems.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
* At least 3 years of HR experience and a relevant third-level HR qualification.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
* Proficient in HR software (e.g., Sage HR) and MS Office.
* Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and excellent communication skills.
* Marketing experience is an advantage.
* Team player with the ability to work independently, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
