About This Role
We are seeking a Planning & Environmental Consultant to work on large-scale and strategic developments for multinational clients in Ireland and Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to join our team.
You will have the chance to work on multiple large-scale projects across various sectors in the Irish and international markets. The successful candidate can work from either of our Irish operational Business Units in Dublin or Cork.
Main Responsibilities
1. Involve in preparing and managing development consents, compliance and planning strategy for large-scale projects.
2. Participate in design processes for layout, master planning and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
3. Manage interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients and stakeholders.
4. Liaise with County Councils, An Bord Pleanála and other statutory bodies as required.
5. Experience with environmental permitting, including EPA Licence application process and/or waste facility licencing process, would be beneficial.

Requirements
1. A minimum qualification Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification (or equivalent) in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline.
2. Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
3. Relevant experience in planning and environmental management consultancy.
4. Knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, policy and practice.
5. Project Management skills with attention to critical dates and adherence to deadlines.
6. Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills.
7. Excellent knowledge of report preparation (MS Word) and use of MS Excel.
8. Proven track record of working independently.
9. Promotes an inclusive workplace culture.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience in CAD and/or GIS.
2. Exposure to design processes for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects.
