Occupational Therapy Assistant Permanent Contract 39 hours per week Location: Kildare Town and Athy, Co. Kildare Occupational Therapy Assistant Salary Scale: €34,434 to max €38,813 DOE In line with the HSE National Programme for Progressing Disability Services, Kare is the Lead Agency for the provision of supports across South Kildare West Wicklow. The successful candidate will join an established Interdisciplinary CDNT, providing quality, evidenced based and family-centred supports for children and young people aged 0-18 years, who present with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework, to support their development to enable active participation in community life. This role includes clinical and administrative duties that support Occupational Therapists in providing a high-quality service to users. Responsibilities Assist to integrate Occupational Therapy skills with current Occupational Therapy theory and relevant supporting evidence based knowledge. Assist in facilitating individual intervention, parent coaching sessions, group intervention, education sessions with parents or other support staff in line with service model. Ensure all records and report writing are up to date and available if required. Maintain professional standards in relation to consent, confidentiality, ethics and legislation.
