About the Head of Treasury role There is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team in our Dublin office as Head of Treasury.
This position provides the opportunity to gain full exposure to the Goodbody finance function.
Head of Treasury Business Accountabilities include: Responsible for ensuring that all client and firm cash is managed efficiently and in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Responsible for development and delivery of the Goodbody ICARAP, including responsibility for engaging with internal capital and risk management stakeholders and detailed engagement with Group.
Responsible for leading, overseeing and developing the Treasury team, including providing guidance to the Treasury analysts on a day-to-day basis.
Delivery of liquidity risk management enhancements through a standalone project, with a view to ensuring compliance with EBA and SREP guidelines.
Focus on embedding robust operational processes with outsourced partners.
Responsible for daily cash flow and liquidity monitoring and forecasting, the management of client deposit rollovers and working with outsourced partners on all cash movements.
Delivery of a review of the treasury end to end operating model, embedding a revised risk oversight and control environment.
Client asset adherence - reporting and monitoring.
Oversight of the daily client asset calculations and on-going monitoring of adherence to the client asset Regulations.
Qualifications and Experience Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
Due to the high level of spreadsheet-based work in the role an excellent knowledge of Excel would be an advantage: Pivot tables, lookups and knowledge of formulae etc.
Minimum of seven years relevant treasury experience within financial services / investment firm environment.
Experience of ICAAP/ICARAP and related regulatory processes.
