Mechanical Engineer A requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering support. The successful Engineer shall possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, equivalent experience, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a relevant industry.
The successful Engineer will be a member of the Facilities Project delivery group. The role will involve running individual projects as well as providing mechanical support to other site projects as required.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver facility style projects E2E (end to end).Qualified & experienced in pharmaceutical manufacturing sites & facility – Utility Buildings.Experienced with engagement of onsite incumbent contractors including site walkdowns, scoping, and estimating.Experienced in change control, project closeout, financial closeout, and drawing updates.Co-ordination and supervision of mechanical contractor(s) during construction and commissioning activities.Process Engineering Support: Carry out or provide technical direction on engineering studies related to new products or equipment.Become involved in equipment/plant design to ensure that the equipment is fit for purpose, meets user, safety, and GMP requirements, and minimizes life cycle cost.Experience in working in the pharmaceutical sector, both API & Biologic plants, with a minimum of 5 years working experience.Experience in project management, project controls, change control, Mechanical Engineering & mechanical style projects; document handovers are an advantage.Arcadis is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
