We are looking for a skilled Maintenance/Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in our modern production facility in Charlestown, Co. Mayo and to contribute to our continued success.
Job Overview: As a Maintenance/Process Engineer at Guardian Doors, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our production processes and equipment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues promptly to prevent production delays.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and process activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Process Improvement: Analyse current production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, process improvements, and equipment performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to understand their needs and provide technical support.
Collaborate with other departments to implement cross-functional improvements.
Training: Train production staff on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications: Education: Accredited 3 rd level qualification in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or demonstrated ability in a similar role.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electrical, maintenance or engineering role, preferably in manufacturing.
Skills: Strong electrical, technical and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experienced in safety regulations and best practices.
Knowledge of maintenance management systems and process optimization techniques.
