We have an exciting opportunity for a Lobby Supervisor in Supermac's The Portlaoise Plaza.
The Lobby Supervisor assists the overall Manager in the smooth running of the lobby / seating area, providing leadership to their team, dealing with the day to day operations, people management and all aspects associated with successfully supervising the lobby area in a fast-paced environment. The Lobby Supervisor greets and facilitates the customer experience by maintaining an efficient customer flow and informing customers of menu options, the latest promotion offerings, and communicating feedback from customers and informing staff of menu or operational changes.
The Role:
* Supervising and motivating their team
* To take full ownership of the lobby area
* General marketing and promotion of the Supermac’s and other Plaza brands.
* Perform marketing and other promotional services (i.e. flyers, vouchers, etc).
* Implementation of company policies and procedures and following guidelines.
* To adhere to all aspects of health and safety legislation, food safety legislation (HACCP) and company policy ensuring your own safety and the safety of colleagues and customers;
* To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene, cleanliness and neatness ensuring full uniform is worn at all times.
* To ensure tables and condiments are kept clean at all times and that condiments are well stocked.
* Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner - You must be able to have the banter with the customers.
* Make sure you interact with the customers. Give creative suggestions regarding our food menus; make the conversation with the customers lively.
* Confirm with the manager about the parties and events that are going to be held in the restaurant
* Make sure that All lobbies of our restaurant (including outside of restaurant) and toilets are kept clean throughout restaurant operations.
* Ensure that the lobby and serving areas and are properly set up, clean and tidy
* You must have a sense of urgency regarding the cleanliness of the lobby, ensuring tables are cleared immediately
* Communicate with all customers to ensure quality satisfaction with both food and service
* Respond to any customer complaints and bring any issues to the attention of the Manager/Supervisor.
* Communicate with Management, kitchen staff, customer service staff to ensure effective customer flow
Person Specification:
* The Lobby supervisor must be able to provide excellent customer care to the public.
* You must possess exceptional communication and positive representation of the company
* You must be able to participate in a team-oriented environment
* You must be Energetic, Approachable, Friendly, Outgoing, Courteous
Required Skills:
* Previous customer service in the hospitality environment preferred
