Abbott Quality Validation Engineer

As a Quality Validation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the Abbott Division validation programme.
You will create and maintain validation documentation for new and existing systems and processes subject to design/change control.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Quality System procedures.
* Investigate/troubleshoot validation problems for components, equipment, and/or performance processes.
* Monitor and maintain the quality and compliance status of associated quality records.
* Write, review, approve, and/or execute documentation for new and current validation procedures and technical reports related to components, equipment, products, and/or processes.
* Assist with establishing corporate validation policies.
* Maintain the quality and compliance status of associated Procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
* Present and communicate status, report metrics, identify trends, potential issues, and improvement initiatives, as applicable.
* Have a basic understanding of design controls and design transfer.
* Be responsible for creating or participating in risk analyses and FMEAs.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar industry.
* Minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
