Products, Retail has responsibility for our four core Product sets which include: Mortgage, Credit, Current & Deposit, and Payments & Cards. Products has a Group-wide remit and is a key enabler of customer centric propositions and the delivery of the bank’s Regulatory, Sustainment and Strategic agenda. A vacancy now exists for a Product Management Associate on the Payment & Cards Product Management team.
This role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Payments & Cards Product Management team, working closely with colleagues across AIB ROI, AIB UK and EBS including Legal, Risk, COO, CTO and Retail.
Key Accountabilities:
* Support the end-to-end management of the Payments & Cards product suite, ensuring resilience and integrity in line with the Group Product & Proposition Risk policy.
* Champion a customer-first approach by promoting processes that deliver fair and beneficial outcomes for all customers, in alignment with our Purpose, strategic ambitions, and brand values.
* Work closely with teams across AIB Group and external stakeholders to drive improvements, respond quickly to product challenges, and implement procedural changes as needed.
* Identify and escalate customer pain points and product challenges. Liaise with product management experts to resolve issues and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
* Interpret, report, and communicate product information within the Payments & Cards function, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed.
* Demonstrate expertise in product management within the payments and cards domain, supporting the team’s goals and driving key strategic initiatives.
What you Will Bring:
* Prior experience in product management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of product lifecycles and customer-focused delivery.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively collaborating across departments.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to Payments & Cards products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Strong attention to detail with experience in applying relevant policies and procedures to maintain product integrity.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage and align stakeholders.
* A quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities and identify opportunities for transformation, process improvement, and the design of future state solutions.
* Knowledge of Payments & Cards Processes (Preferred): Familiarity with Payments & Cards products, which will support cross-functional collaboration and execution.
