Electrical Engineer Job Description
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in North Dublin on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update all site electrical drawings to as-built standards.
2. Manage and coordinate site efforts for planning and executing electrical power downs/up, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety regulations while minimizing impact on site activities.
3. Own and manage site change control and relevant stakeholder meetings.
4. Engage as the point of contact for project electrical works.
5. Develop a handover index requirement and review project electrical handover packs.
6. Identify HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and infrastructure on site.
7. Develop a site electrical hierarchy architectural A-CAD drawing, including from incomer to lowest level sub-boards, maintaining consistent labeling and implementing PMs for all panels and distribution boards.
8. Develop a site life support systems hierarchy architectural A-CAD drawing, identifying top-tier boards to lowest level sub-boards, maintaining consistent labeling and implementing PMs for all panels and distribution boards.
9. Correctly identify and assess site electrical installations to ensure specifications are correctly identified.
10. Ensure new electrical projects are risk-assessed, with value engineering incorporated, and input to design in new equipment, energy, electrical, instrument project upgrades, and installations as projects dictate.
11. Update Maximo CMMS with each electrical system/asset, as per site MEP guidelines.
12. Document and implement preventative maintenance job plans for each electrical system on the Maximo CMMS, ensuring compliance with European electrical standards and ETCI rules and regulations.
Ideal Background:
* Bachelor's Degree: Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
* National Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering & Degree in Management.
* 10 years plus of experience as an Electrician.
