Job Description
Due to the continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Co. Kildare. However, the role will require travel around site locations in Ireland to manage all site elements of the assigned projects for King & Moffatt, while ensuring full project deliverables are achieved.
This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors, and Subcontractors.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
* Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
* Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
* Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
* Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc.
* On-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.
* Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
* Update appropriate information to progress report.
* Maintain K&M Document Management System.
* Communicate changes to the Project team.
* Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification in mechanical building services.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
* Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role.
* Project Management experience beneficial.
* Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to do some travel if/when required.
