About The Role
Investlinx is seeking an experienced and skilled Portfolio Manager. As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing investments, generating new ideas and conducting thorough investment research. You will be responsible for managing equity and fixed income investments across our funds and individual portfolio mandates. The position will report to the Chief Investment Officer.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Management: Manage the entire investment process, from idea generation to trade execution and monitoring.
2. Research: Initiate and prepare investment research/analysis on individual securities in order to generate investment proposals, in public equities and bonds.
3. Trading: Responsible for executing and overseeing equity and bond trades, collaborating with brokers to ensure timely & accurate execution and performing pre/post trade compliance checks.
4. Monitoring: Carry out ongoing monitoring of existing investments and the markets, including the macroeconomic environment and relevant market specific developments impacting the investment portfolios.
5. Investor Communication: Creating and delivering insightful investment pieces - keeping our investors well-informed about investment strategies and current market trends.
6. Operational Excellence: Manage all operational aspects, including updating and maintaining the fund's information.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, investment processes, risk limits and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience
1. 4-6 years relevant experience in industry, such as Equity Research, Fund Management, Private Equity or Corporate Finance
2. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a strong academic record
3. MBA/CFA/ACA holders preferable, but not a prerequisite
4. German language fluency is a benefit, but not a prerequisite
5. Knowledge of financial markets, investment principles and portfolio management strategies
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risks effectively
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and strategies clearly
