Project Officer Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to join our team for a fixed term of 10 weeks. The role will be hybrid, with a minimum of 1 day in the office.
The successful candidate will report to the relevant Programme Manager within RSF and work in the International Cooperation, Evaluation and Targeted Programmes Unit.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contribute to activities in support of the company strategy, focusing on International Cooperation, Evaluation and Targeted Programmes.
2. Support the coordination of evaluation activities for the company's funding portfolio, providing insights and evidence for strategic decisions.
3. Assist in delivering excellence, quality, and impact in all projects, while ensuring open and responsible research assessment.
4. Support peer review for the Applied Partnership Awards by identifying suitable peer reviewers and working with other Project Officers to ensure sufficient reviewers are secured.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have at least three years' experience in a research environment, demonstrating strong technical expertise, analytical and organisational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to work independently while contributing to a team are essential.
Desirable Criteria
* Prior experience in a research environment
* High degree of computer literacy, including knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Please note that this is a short-term, full-time contract for 10 weeks.
