We are seeking an experienced and driven Community Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the growth and success of the Auranga development. Reporting directly to the Chairperson, this leadership role is responsible for governance, operational management, and community engagement. You’ll oversee the financial performance of community operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage key community facilities, and lead initiatives that foster connection and belonging among residents.
Key responsibilities include:
* Facilitating administrative processes, including Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and ensuring compliance with association by-laws.
* Overseeing insurance policies, property valuations, and financial performance reporting.
* Leading maintenance activities for critical infrastructure such as fire suppression systems, community facilities, and operational equipment.
* Fostering strong relationships with residents, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and responsive communication.
* Driving community engagement initiatives to build connections and enhance residents’ well-being.
About You
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Community Manager or similar role and have a strong understanding of business and financial administration, facilities management, and community relations.
You will demonstrate an intuitive approach to problem-solving as well as having excellent collaborative and relationship-building skills, working with external and internal stakeholders.
You’ll also bring strong communication and interpersonal abilities and a self-motivated and team-oriented approach to actively contribute to our dynamic work environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
* Proven experience in community management, governance, or a related field.
* Exceptional leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget management and reporting.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards, including maintenance oversight for safety systems.
