Eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Project Manager. This is a day contractor position located with our client in South Dublin. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure and security projects.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that are in line with the agreed network security roadmap.
* Create and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
* Identify stakeholders, allocate relevant project resources, and assign responsibilities.
* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including stakeholder meetings and decision-making.
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
* Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
* Test network systems and security measures to ensure they meet specifications and performance requirements.
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
* Coordinate with multiple vendors and partners as required.
* Prepare detailed network and security status reports and manage team members.
* Ensure all relevant stakeholders are managed appropriately.
* Develop and maintain an appropriate communications plan to ensure that deliverables are presented, approved, and understood.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, specifically in network infrastructure and security.
* Proven experience in managing large enterprise change initiatives.
* Strong understanding of network design, implementation, maintenance, and security products.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and coordinating the delivery of quality design artifacts.
* Knowledge of network security products such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. Knowledge of software-defined network technology is also desirable.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
