Relationship Manager – Consultants PracticeBon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons are pleased to invite applications for the position of Relationship Manager – Consultants PracticeThe Relationship Manager – Consultants Practice will be responsible for the planning, organising, co-ordination, scheduling and directing the operation of the Administration Service Department (Reception, Clinic Administrators and Medical Secretaries). Bon Secours Health System is developing a new 150 bed medical facility in Ballysimon to the east of Limerick City. Building works are nearing completion with a plan to open this new state-of-the-art hospital in 2025. This commitment will see the expansion of surgical specialties currently delivered by Bon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons, plus the addition of cardiology, MAU and other medical services.Post: Full-time Specified Purpose (Maternity Leave Cover) position.Hours of work: 35 hours per week. Flexibility on hours of attendance in response to service needs and management requirements will be a key element of this role.Remuneration: €55,644-67,981 LSI. (Commensurate with experience).Our competitive compensation and benefits package is continually reviewed and adjusted in line with market trends.Job Requirements:Education to Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme / Have passed an examination of at least equivalent standard.Have satisfactory relevant experience, which encompasses demonstrable equivalent skills.Client / Account management experience essential preferably in a hospital environment.3+years’ experience in an operational role.Experience in managing performance.Experience coordinating/implementing and monitoring projects and processes.Experience in identifying, assessing, and developing activities to improve the service.Familiar with the Patient Management Systems to include but not limited to iPMs, Health Link.Strong decision making and communication skills.Strong leadership and coaching skills.Target focused to manage SLA’s.Role Responsibilities of the post include, and are not limited to:Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for the Patient Administrative Service within the hospital.Actively leads and/or participates in modernising the Patient Administrative Service function within the hospital through the review and implementation of new technologies and the implementation of standardised policies and procedures.Develops and administers appropriate policies and procedures including, but not limited to the management of Patient Administrative Service function.Monitors the effectiveness of the department in maximising the use of resources.To ensure the maintenance of excellent customer service levels across the assigned staff providing consultants, patients, visitors and staff with information as required.Ensure that systems are in place for the collection and collation of correct and verified data and charges for patients attending the hospital.Be a super user of all Hospital wide computer patient management systems.Ensure adherence to department and hospital policies in relation to the care and safety of any equipment supplied for the fulfilment of duty.Establish good working relationships and network effectively with external organisations and individuals to keep up to date with best practice standards.To attend Departmental meetings and to actively participate in formulation of policies, clinical guidelines, operational policy / procedures and the sharing of information.To utilise financial and other information to plan and deliver agreed levels of service.Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team within the Hospital to improve process and practices and to identify areas of quality improvement with regards to gaining JCI Accreditation.Responsible through appropriate line management, and development of staff to motivate and maximise their performance potential.Deliver the role within the context of the Mission of Bon Secours and embrace opportunities to live and fulfil the Bon Secours core values.Informal enquiries to: Jill Mullins, EA to Hospital CEO - JMullins@bonsecours.ie Closing date for receipt of applications is 12pm on Friday 28th March 2025.How to apply:Please click on the Apply button aboveA Panel may be formed to fill future vacancies.BON SECOURS HEATH SYSTEM IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER.
