Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers with installed base to initiate contact, promote services offers, and be in communication with all levels of the customer organization to ensure our offers are fully comprehended by the customer organization. To underpin the services commercial objectives of the local organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Initiates contact, develops, manages, and implements a commercial strategy for targeted accounts and segments.
2. Actively promotes and educates applicable installed base services with target customer base.
3. Develops robust knowledge of the full offer based on installed base services offer, particularly around our ‘Power Systems’ offers and how to apply these offers across the customer lifecycle.
4. Ability to cross-sell the offers.
5. Develops working knowledge of all Services offer portfolio from other lines of business (Buildings, IT) and competently applies these to customer “pain points.”
6. Establishes and implements dynamic sales plans in accordance with policies.
Qualifications:
1. The successful candidate should have a technical qualification preferably at degree level in engineering and at least 2 years of sales experience, with some sales experience in electrical engineering.
2. Electrical systems experience, distribution and protection experience, and power quality experience are a must for being a trusted advisor and creating demands.
3. Cold calling and social selling experience.
4. Ability to persuade, convince, or impress others in order to promote our offers and influence other decision makers.
5. Active listening skills to provide full attention to the content and meanings of others’ messages.
6. The ability to build and maintain business relationships.
7. Energetic, outgoing, proactive, and attentive to prospecting and networking.
8. Thorough knowledge of service offerings throughout the asset life cycle, with good knowledge of power systems, secure power, and industry systems.
