Overview
We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to create sales opportunities and build lasting relationships with store managers. The role offers a competitive salary, access to a company vehicle, and various benefits.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Adhere to journey plans provided by the line manager.
* Merchandise required products on store shelves, ensuring planogram compliance, maximizing promotional space, and negotiating with Store Managers.
* Record merchandising activities, audit brands and competitor activity, and provide timely feedback.
* Maintain and grow planogram space where possible.
* Ensure all products have correct Shelf Edge Labels placed in front of the product.
* Merchandise all promotional displays and ensure correct pricing is in place.
* Capture before and after photographs using a hand-held device.
* Liaise with store managers prior to leaving to ensure they are happy with work completed.
* Liaise with National Sales Managers (NSMs) before and after each call.
* Deliver field insights to the National Sales Manager.
* Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team.
* Generate new ideas and ways of working.
* Support all product launches and promotions, and develop presence in-store.
* Maintain all Company Policies and Procedures (CPM standards).
* Consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers.
* Operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks.
* Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.
Required Experience & Competencies:
* A full driving license is essential.
* A merchandising background is desirable but not required.
* Computer literacy - ability to send photos via email and fill in and send reports/audits as required.
* Ability to undertake physical activity as this role will involve lifting and moving some heavy products.
