We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team within the hospitality industry. This is an ideal position for an applicant looking to broaden their skillset by covering several key functions within the Finance Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
* Full responsibility over AP & AR functions
* Responsibility over credit control function
* Deposit Management
* Perform bank reconciliations
* General Ledger Account Reconciliation
* Balance Sheet Reconciliation
* Assist with year-end audit requirements
* Maintain accurate and systematic accounting records
* Review, prepare, and provide various reports as required ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
* Respond to internal and external client inquiries in a timely manner
* Follow policies and processes established by your department, Human Resources or any department in which guidelines must be met
* Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned depending on department need and growth
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
* Proven ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
* Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Sage and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to reach deadlines.
* Be self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
