We are currently recruiting an Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team at Carton House.
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure the service consistently reflects the ambiance and service standards set by the leadership team.
2. Lead the team by motivating, coaching, and monitoring the performance levels of all team and supervisory members.
3. Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit through active on-the-floor communication.
4. Manage assigned F&B Manager on Duty responsibilities including being a point of contact for all requests.
5. Ensure Breakfast is operating within the standards of LQA.
6. Work together with the culinary, restaurant managers, and stewarding team to ensure that all food service meets or exceeds guest expectations.
7. Participate in service as necessary and ensure floor presence at key times.
8. Perform daily checks on staffing levels, quality control, maintenance, and cleanliness for the outlet.
9. Develop training programs for the restaurant to ensure continuous growth.
10. Participate in the training and coaching of new and existing team members within the outlet.
11. Work in conjunction with the Outlet Chef, Executive Chef, and Food & Beverage Manager on promotions, menus, and special events.
12. Create and innovate ideas and promotions to generate revenue and improve guest satisfaction for the outlet.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have full flexibility - this is a full-time role, flexibility, and shift work is required.
2. Possess a real understanding of hotel operations.
3. Have the ability to work on their own initiative.
4. Exhibit excellent communication skills with proficient spoken & written English.
5. Be outgoing, bubbly, and confident in dealing with a range of customers.
6. Have previous experience in a similar role in a 5-star resort.
7. Maintain a structured and organized approach to work planning.
