Job Summary:
An Industrial Engineer will analyze and develop improvement plans, implementing changes in material flow operations to drive efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the expansion of material flow with New Product Introduction.
* Develop and sustain material flow integration within the facility.
* Lead and monitor material flow operations throughout the facility, providing resolutions for issues and identifying continuous improvements.
* Quantify continuous improvements with supply chain, materials, and manufacturing involvement.
* Maintain work practices and strategies with internal and external logistics.
* Oversee indirect labor by defining kanban, kitting, and milk-run operations, and calculating process times.
* Assist with scheduling systems and define internal flow for product movement.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or comparable field.
* Experience within a manufacturing engineering position.
* Implementation and management of kanban process and kitting deployment experience.
* Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing systems.
