Job Title: Payment Specialist - Client Services Funds & Banking
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled banking professional to join our team and resolve routine and complex client service issues in a thorough and expeditious manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and be fluent in English, German, French, or Italian.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to client inquiries via telephone, email, and online chat, providing courteous and efficient support for cash deposit and withdrawal activity, position transfers, and account administrative functions.
* Solve pending transfers, differences, and cash transfer-related issues, exercising sound judgment and following established procedures.
* Collaborate with local and international Customer Service divisions and external departments to address common issues and coordinate activities.
* Contribute to the development of client service systems, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
* Fluent English language skills and proficiency in German, French, or Italian.
* Banking/commercial apprenticeship or university degree in finance, economics, or related field.
* Experience in financial services (brokerage, banking, trading, exchange, or clearinghouse) is preferred but not required.
* In-depth understanding of stocks, securities options, futures, options on futures, foreign exchange, and fixed income.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to accommodate client inquiries.
* Ability to understand and interpret SWIFT messages (MT103, MT540).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with International security clearing and settlement, as well as cash settlement.
* Working knowledge of various exchange operations and regulations, product offerings, execution platforms, rules, and margin methodologies.
