Electrical Engineer - Facilities Management - Dublin
Are you an Electrical Engineer with over 5 Years Experience? This is a full-time Permanent Position based in Dublin.
Our client is a large Irish owned Facilities Management company and works in multiple sectors including:

They are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time permanent contract. The successful applicant will be based between sites and our Head Office in Dublin and will be expected to travel to meet the needs of the business and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Involvement in all aspects of the preconstruction stage to include health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions, and the management of the projects commissioning phase.
2. Undertake project work by taking responsibility for the preparation of engineering designs for electrical installations and systems.
3. Data manipulation of original drawings according to the revision of the specification.
4. Conduct independent reading and research to ensure drawing/specification accuracy.
5. Liaise with various contractors regarding the design and coordination of installations.
6. Preparation of Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
7. Proactively enhance and improve the service delivered by the client.
8. Support the Projects Division in promoting a culture of excellent customer service and establishing exceptional working relationships with both your colleagues and the client.
9. Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansion.
10. Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business.
Requirements:
1. Graduate with a degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
3. Must have a thorough understanding of I.S.10101, I.S.3217, and I.S.3218.
4. Background in consulting and/or construction is highly desired.
5. A basic working knowledge of CAD functionality with MS Office experience.
6. Ability to use IT based calculations and spreadsheet software.
7. Health & Safety awareness with an understanding of the legislation and required standards.
8. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise their own workload.
Package:
50k - 65k Salary negotiable for the right candidate. Full-time Permanent role.
