Job Description:
A leading insurance company based in Dublin is expanding its finance team and hiring a Trainee Accountant.
Role Overview
This is a 3-year fixed term contract with hybrid working, a competitive salary and strong benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide accounting services for reinsurance transactions.
* Manage day-to-day relationships with brokers and clients.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and reports.
* Ensure transaction accounts are settled in a timely manner.
* Reconcile accounts to the general ledger system.
* Facilitate internal and external audits.
Requirements:
* Strong numerical ability.
* Part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
* Stamp 4/EU Passport compulsory.
* Experience with monthly and quarterly accounts.
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
