Accounts Assistant
Our client is currently seeking multiple Accounts Assistants to join their team. These roles report directly to the Financial Controller. They will be onsite roles working with the finance team assisting with day-to-day financial operations across the Group.
We are open to someone working on a Full Time, Temp or Contract basis for this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Group VAT Returns
* Group Sales Reconciliation
* Preparation of Accounting Reports
* Group Bank Reconciliations
* Intercompany Reconciliation
* Preparation Letters of Credit/CAD
* Preparation of Sales Reports
* Preparation of Payroll
* Assistance with audit prep
* Accounts Analytics
* Various projects on an ad hoc basis
Position Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar finance role.
* Proficiency with MS Excel and accounting software, e.g. Sage.
* Accounts reconciliation and preparation experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Willingness to learn and gain experience working in a busy finance department.
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
