Director of Clinical Operations
A senior executive role reporting directly to the CEO, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient clinical operations across Highfield Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct responsibility for senior managers, including the Head of Quality and Patient Safety.
* Closely collaborate with the Clinical Director, Medical Director, and Nursing Directors, as well as the wider Executive Directors.
* Ensure compliance with standards set by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) and the Mental Health Commission (MHC).
* Embed a culture of quality and accountability across all services.
Leadership Role:
* Lead in clinical governance committees, prioritising, tracking, and implementing governance actions effectively.
* Optimise resources and enhance operational efficiencies.
* Communicate critical operational data promptly and accurately to relevant stakeholders, supporting effective decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Essential: A clinical qualification in nursing, allied health/health and social care, medicine, or a related discipline.
* Desirable: A qualification in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field.
* Highly desirable: A master's degree in healthcare management, clinical leadership, or a related discipline.
* At least 10 years' experience in the healthcare sector, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a patient-facing clinical practice role.
* At least 5 years of management experience within the healthcare sector.
* Extensive experience in clinical and quality management, with a proven track record of playing a leadership role in clinical governance.
