Post Summary:
The Administrative Services Manager (Accounts) will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial expertise to support the Director of Campus Infrastructure and managers across the directorate who are accountable for all expenditure and transactions against their budgets.
The Post Holder will lead the Accounts Team and will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of financial activities within the Estates & Facilities Directorate including but not limited to:
* Purchasing;
* Procurement;
* Debtor management;
* Internal trade;
* Capital claims;
* Audit and tax compliance;
* Processing of payables and receivables transactions;
* Reconciliation and reporting of accounts;
* Record Keeping in compliance with audit and legislative requirements;
* Assistance with budget setting.
As part of the Business Support Unit in the Estates & Facilities Directorate, the Post Holder will report to the Business Support Manager and work with the managers of the Administrative Services and Customer Services teams to provide a seamless and customer-focused service within one of the principal professional services departments within the university.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€68,181 - €88,201 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
