Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a 4 Partner firm in Dublin City Centre.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping with expertise in VAT, payroll processing, and management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring timely compliance with regulations.
Process payroll for multiple clients, including preparation of payslips, management of deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping, with specific expertise in VAT and payroll.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
