Role Information
Team Management:
* Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, overseeing schedules, and ensuring proper training for new employees.
Quality Control:
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas through regular inspections and feedback.
Inventory Management:
* Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure adequate stock levels and proper usage.
Guest Satisfaction:
* Respond to guest requests, concerns, or complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed guest expectations and maintain a positive reputation for the hotel.
Safety and Compliance:
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols, proper handling of cleaning chemicals, and compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Reporting and Documentation:
* Maintain records, prepare reports on housekeeping activities, and collaborate with other departments for efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
We require:
* A minimum of 2-year supervisory experience at a similar property
* Provide a superb guest service and have excellent people skills
* Excellent attention to detail in delivering customer care standards
* Good knowledge or both written and spoken English
* Be able to multi-task and be willing to help where required in all areas of the hotel.
