We are presently recruiting for a Credit Controller for our clients near Tralee, County Kerry. Working with the company Financial Controller, you will manage the company’s credit policies, ensuring timely payments, assessing customer creditworthiness, chasing overdue debts, reconciling accounts, and minimising financial risk. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and manage outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.
2. Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
3. Set credit limits and payment terms based on company policies.
4. Chase overdue payments via calls, emails, and written communication.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment history.
6. Reconcile accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve credit-related issues.
8. Prepare reports on debt status and collection efforts.
9. Ensure compliance with company credit policies and regulations.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years experience in credit control or a similar role in a busy accounts department is essential.
2. Relevant qualification relating to business, accounts or similar.
3. Strong numerical, IT and analytical skills.
Salary in the region of €30,000 - €35,000 is offered.
