Job Title: IT Service Manager
This role oversees the ICT requirements and activities for a public sector organisation. The IT Service Manager will provide high-quality management, maintenance, support, and development of all ICT services.
About You
* Degree/HND in ICT or Level 5 qualification in Leadership/Management - obligation to obtain within 2 years of starting
* 3+ years of experience in leading and managing an IT services team in an enterprise network environment
* Experience of user management, Office 365 licencing and security, helpdesk and asset management, file and data management (Share Point, One Drive, Teams), software licence management
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head of ICT and Network Systems in establishing a coherent ICT strategy
* Develop and lead a high-performance team to ensure the efficient and effective realisation of the organisation's vision, policies, and objectives
* Liaise with and advise managers on issues related to ICT services
* Manage and develop ICT systems technical lead and project management responsibilities on projects as required, ensuring quality standards are maintained
* Evaluate and improve ICT support service delivery
* Be responsible for the leadership and management of staff employed in the IT Support Sections
