Vertiv/E+I Engineering is the largest electrical switchgear manufacturer in the UK & Ireland, pioneering unique in-house integrated power solutions tailored to each individual client project.
We are seeking a Powerbar Administrator to join our team, responsible for organising and managing project documents and administration.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Create and manage project folders.
* Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date drawings folders and registers.
* Coordinate and manage all operational activities on a daily basis.
* Prepare technical submittal packages and O&M manuals.
* Monitor, control and manage all HSEQ documentation returned from site and upload information to company databases.
* Assist in preparing project programmes and progress reports.
* Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, highlighting any shortcomings or poorly prepared documentation to senior management.
* Assist management in preparing operational performance and strategic plans and programmes.
* Provide internal teams with access to contract and operational information, drawings registers, project folders etc.
* Identify problems or issues in admin/operations processes and systems and resolve them quickly and effectively.
* Maintain clear and accurate documents and records of procedures for future reference purposes.
* Organise and archive contract documents accurately for internal teams.
* Process internal team drawings/document requests.
* E nsure that all Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
* Participate in the delivery of management reporting systems including Cost control, Progress reporting, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental issues, ensuring compliance to company standards.
Requirements
* Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook, and other software tools.
* Previous experience of project administration methodologies and best practices.
* Ability to learn new skills.

* Good written and verbal communication abilities.

* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English, Science & 2 others.
