This Senior Product Manager is responsible for our Wealth products and experiences (including banking, brokers, financial advisers and retirement). They will build a deep understanding of the user needs in a wide range of wealth management areas and be responsible for developing, delivering, and iterating the product roadmap to serve user needs in a timely manner.
You’ll play a pivotal role in the growth of our Wealth products. More specifically, you’ll have ownership of conducting deep user research to understand our users and customers, define feature requirements, and manage our initiatives alongside internal and external stakeholders. To do this well, you’ll need to be an excellent collaborator, communicator, and creative thinker. You’ll have a ‘get stuff done’ attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
Are you up to the challenge?
1. Be a thought partner and collaborator with the Director of Product Management for the Money division.
2. Proficiently create and manage a strategic roadmap that balances user needs, business goals and company objectives.
3. Oversee existing products and define new features and capabilities based upon consumer feedback including validating customer use cases for current and planned offerings.
4. Quickly and accurately identify when there's a need to adjust the solution if it's not meeting the hypothesis and iterate with speed and efficiency.
5. Manage multiple streams of discovery and analysis as well as know when and where it's appropriate to test quickly vs precisely.
6. Own our user journey through extensive primary user/customer research and secondary market research.
7. Ensure all product requirements are thorough, thought-through, testable, and visually successful.
8. Independently and proficiently uncover "the why" behind user needs and conduct discovery by gathering data and insights to form a hypothesis of a solution.
9. Effectively measure results for consumer/customer success metrics (pageviews, clicks, click conversion rate, etc) by working closely with various teams (Tech, Design, Marketing, Editorial, Compliance, etc) to deliver high quality work.
10. Have the capability to be an expert in the products and have a solid understanding of how the product affects adjacent and non-adjacent products.
11. Collaboratively work with immediate team members to deliver user requirements, foster collaborative opportunities between teams, and constructively take feedback from team members, stakeholders, and leaders.
12. Fail fast, learn from it, and turn the learnings into successes.
Position Requirements:
You should definitely have:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product management, preferably experience in the financial / wealth industry.
* Experience with the full product life-cycle from ideation (concept) to go-to-market (launch).
* Experience conducting and actioning user research and testing.
* Experience in project management and stakeholder management.
* Have strong oral and written communication skills.
* Are empathetic and are willing to try to understand our users and customers mindsets and needs.
* Hungry to build and take ownership for a digital product suite.
* Are detail oriented, organized and have strong time management skills.
* Superior interpersonal communications and problem-solving ability.
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with the Agile scrum workflow and the Product Owner role.

* Experience in JIRA, Airtable, Confluence or other product development tracking tools.
* Experience with consumer facing websites.
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of wealth management products.
* An understanding of SEO.
