Role: Senior Engineer

Salary/Package: €75K - €85K (DOE) + package
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be an integral part of an on-site management team tasked with delivering a quality project, safely and on time.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Site Manager with daily operations as required.
* Act as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, concrete contractor, steel work contractor, cladding contractor.
* Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications;
* Manage, monitor and interpret construction design drawings supplied by structural engineer, architect & MEP engineers.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in the project.
* Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring site labour force and work of any subcontractors.
* Plan work and efficiently organise plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
* Supervise setting out, levelling and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co-ordination.
* Check plans, drawings and setting out co-ordination.
* Oversee quality control and implementation of company management of health & safety on site.
* Prepare reports as required for senior site manager & project manager.
* Proactive approach to resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise and associated reporting to senior site manager and project manager.
* Perform any other duties as required by management.
Education/Experience:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
* Current valid Safe Pass.
* Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience.
* Operational knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and planning skills.
* Able to work effectively in a team environment.
* Self-motivated with drive to achieve results.
* IT literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD.
