IT Security Officer
At Aeven, we are looking for an IT Security Officer having experience in services which includes Vulnerability, Endpoint Security, and security advisory. The IT Security Officer acts as a liaison between the customer's security responsible or the customer's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Aeven.
The IT Security Officer will ensure robust security practices, compliance with industry standards, and effective management of security risks across the security services procured from Aeven.
Key Responsibilities:
* Essential security reporting.
* Monthly contact for vulnerability & risk management.
* Strategic security planning, regulatory reviews, and meetings.
* Reporting status of the services to stakeholders and taking actions to resolve issues related to the service.
* Staying current with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in security technologies.
* Security roadmap - In collaboration with the customer, the IT Security Officer helps to develop a security roadmap based on the customer's current security posture, including its strengths, weaknesses, threats, and risks.
* Risk Management - Establish and manage a risk log, holding risks identified by Aeven or the customer, including the contracted services and agreed security controls.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Extensive experience in a customer-facing role where you advised/consulted/guide customers on their cybersecurity needs.
* Vulnerability assessment, malware types, attack vectors.
* Great understanding of cybersecurity in general.
* Knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts like Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud environments.
* Understanding of Windows and Linux Operating systems.
* Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
* Possibility to work from home.
