Job Summary
The role requires an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a strategic onboarding implementation project. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly adapt to existing project management and governance standards, managing both business and technical workstreams while ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project on time, within budget, and to the expected quality.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Scope & Risk Management: Define project scope, identify dependencies, constraints, risks, and proactively manage the critical path.
* Resource & Team Management: Assemble, coordinate, and oversee project resources and tasks.
* Governance & Compliance: Ensure all project documentation and reporting align with PMO governance standards.
* Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage project budget, reporting on financials as needed.
* Reporting & Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, governance bodies, and senior leadership.
* Quality Assurance & Closure: Ensure high-quality project execution, including post-project review and benefits realisation.
Requirements
* Minimum 7 years of project management experience in business and IT project delivery.
* Ability to quickly adapt to existing project management and governance standards.
* Proven experience in managing large and complex business and IT projects.
* Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.
* Knowledge and experience with Project Management and Application Delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
* Deep understanding of project management functions and required artefacts.
* Financial Services or Asset Management experience is highly desirable.
* Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP) is a plus.
