Post Summary: The Health Promotion Officer will liaise between the College Health team (medical, nursing, administrative, allied health professional) and the university community to create a supportive environment for health in Trinity. They will be the College Health resource for the delivery of health promotion as set out in multiple national Healthy Ireland strategies, in the Trinity Strategic Plan and in the Trinity Sustainability Strategy. They will co-ordinate student resources for communications; facilitate the delivery of behaviour change support; engage with partners across the university and be an advocate amongst Trinity students, staff, alumni, and friends for embedding health in education, research, operations, and community. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract T he specific purpose this contract is to fill an Administrative 2 vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from a period of secondment. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return.
