SAM Hire Supervisor -Bray, Co. Wicklow

Principle Objective
As a Hire Supervisor you will manage all aspects of the hire operation in your branch. Key to the role is driving sales of hire products, developing new business and servicing our existing customer base while also ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Knowledge & Experience
1. Substantial experience working in the Hire industry preferable
2. Strong commercial and strategic acumen
3. Ability to reach and exceed sales targets
4. Health and Safety compliance experience
5. People management experience desirable
Key Responsibilities
6. Manage all aspects of the department
7. Sales and margin targets
8. Health & Safety Awareness - ensure that Company Health & Safety Regulations are strictly adhered to
9. Be responsible for the safety of staff and customers
10. Department development
11. Building customer relationships
12. Maintain a high customer service standard ensuring all customers are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner
13. Ensure employees are appropriately trained to deal with customers
14. Be responsible for all equipment and carry out regular stock checks
15. Take responsibility, as requested, for the development and implementation of Sam Hire's strategic and business plan, involving regular consultation with Senior Management
16. Ability to manage and anticipate change
17. Responsible for the upkeep of all elements of the department
18. Safeguard the assets of the company
19. Ensure all company policies are implemented accordingly
