Key Responsibilities:
1. QA/ QC experience of HVAC, Piping Systems and P&ID, walkdowns within pharma and process industry
2. Worked with system testing, inspection of systems installations
3. Completion of system test packs & hand over / signoff documents
4. Reviewed Installations for Compliance to clients Quality plans, standards, specification, design, procedures & expectations
5. Worked closely with site Construction Teams to deliver quality installations at each step of the build process – design, detail, construction, sign off and final line walking
6. Worked in a fast-paced Equipment Facilitation & Installation environment
7. Worked in a controlled environment / cleanroom
8. Attended quality meetings with management and subcontractors and report on quality
9. Worked to tight schedule and successfully delivered requirements on schedule
10. Understanding of welding processes, requirements, and certification
11. Co-ordinate welding processes including NDT testing, requirements
12. Liaising with main contractor / sub-contractors to co-ordinate inspections and tests
13. Walkdown of the systems
14. Manage and inspect weld logs, daily coupons, welder qualifications, NDT reports, material test certs, redlines etc.
15. Ensure welding qualifications are current and quality of welders are of a good standard.
16. Manage test packs and calibration certs.
17. Manage First of Kinds (FOKs) and ensure sign off.
18. Perform final QC checks of systems pre-test and post-test.
19. Perform Quality Audits.
Requirements:
20. CSWIP 3.0 Welding Inspection Qualification desirable
21. A qualified tradesperson (plumber/fitter) and/or coded welders or a third level qualification in mechanical Engineering / Building Services.
22. At least 8+ years Industry Experience and 2 years’ experience in a similar role
23. Ability to work as part of a team.
24. An understanding of EIDA, Fieldview, Viewpoint and CDEs
25. Ability to read and review specifications
