Job DescriptionIn collaboration with the Training Delivery Team Manager, identify training and development needs within Mars Capital through regular consultation with process owners and the human resources department.Design, expand and manage training and development programmes based on the needs of Mars Capital and various business areas.Create and/or deliver a range of training using face-to-face, digital and blended learning options.Produce training materials for in-house courses, in conjunction with process owners.Manage employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programmesDevelop effective induction programmes for new staff.Monitor and review the progress of modules through the Regulatory Learning Platform and escalate in line with policy.Ensure that statutory/policy training requirements are met and completed.Evaluate training and development programmes and prepare reports for management/committees in areas such as engagement and performance.Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment and industry developments in conjunction with applicable process owners.Help line managers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.Promote a work culture of continuing professional development (“CPD”).QualificationsExperienced in the design and delivery of training in the areas of business operations/procedures/regulatory.Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with colleagues at all levels of Mars Capital, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary.Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly.Competent presentation skills.Ability to problem-solve.Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas and deliver training courses at a professional and high level.Good understanding of the regulatory environment which Mars Capital operates.Strong teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to learning, both face-to-face and remotely.Organisational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives.Good time-keeping skills and the ability to multitask to enable you to effectively manage training schedules.Proactive, enthusiastic and innovative approach to work.Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills and a passion for continuing learning and development.A flexible approach to work and an understanding of how diversity and inclusion influences the planning and delivery of training.Competent in using Microsoft packages such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel with strong writing, design and editing skills.Additional InformationCentral Bank of Ireland (“CBI”) Fitness & Probity RegimeSome of our roles are Control Functions (“CF”) as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010.
