Service Manager - Homeless and Addiction Service - Dublin city - Permanent Full time Job Opportunity: Service Manager Homeless and Addiction Service Location: Dublin Salary: €53,000-€60,000 DOE Contract Hours: 39 hours per week Reporting to: Deputy Head of Operations Overall Objective: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Service Manager to oversee the delivery of exceptional care within an open access addiction service.
This role is pivotal to our success, offering you the opportunity to lead, inspire, and grow a team while driving service excellence.
As the Service Manager, you will collaborate closely with the team to ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable provision of care services.
You will be the key point of contact for your team and service users, responsible for maintaining high standards of care and fostering strong relationships.
Your role is central to the success of your service, encompassing growth, team development, and the continuous improvement of services.
Key Responsibilities: Have management responsibility for existing services and programs in Open Access Implement quality standards across all sub-services and ensure that clear policies and procedures are in place Be the primary point of contact for all the programs and services in Open Access including dealing with the funders Be responsible for budgetary management and controls for OAS services Lead the day-to-day operational functions of all Services in the Open Access Take the lead in providing supervision and management for the relevant service coordinators.
Through effective leadership, ensure that the services operate in accordance with the vision and mission and with funding agency requirements.
Ensure that all staff are engaged in supervision and training to deliver services rooted in best practices.
Take a lead on the communication internally within Open Access Lead the development of the services using evidence-based models of intervention and provide accurate data reports.
Requires: Minimum 2 years experience supervising and managing a team in a community, addiction service or similar setting Third Level qualification in a social care or related discipline (e.g., psychology, healthcare, youth work, community development, etc.)
